RHS Renews Gold Facility Certification

Rolla High School was the first school to earn Gold EHS Schools certification in 2013 with 625 points. This past month, they renewed this certification and improved their numbers on the EHS Dashboard to 840.

Chris Headrick at RHS resently had this to say,

As a Gold EHS Executive going on my third year and being a part of GCI for almost five it is so great to see where our industry has come. This is my twenty fifth year as a custodian for RPS. As I look back I can see how much more my current staff’s knowledge is compared to past, as well as my own. It’s also great to see staff be able to inform other staff members and students about what we do, and why we do it.

The GCI EHS program allows for so many benchmarks at so many different levels. It allows you set goals for the future. It also gives you the knowledge to keep your facility and staff current and healthy. It also gives you the tools to make good sound decisions on writing procedures and purchasing future equipment. You can’t put a dollar amount on the benefits of knowledge and how you decide to use it.

In my years of using GCI we have more data to improved productivity without sacrificing quality. We have been able to reallocate our resources. Our staff has more knowledge at their fingertips than ever before thru CEU’s. All of this combined allows you to really think outside the box when it comes to facility management. It has been great to be a part of the total re-evolution of custodial support services over the years. I could not have accomplished what I have without the GCI assets.
