The City of Newport News, Virginia earned Silver EHS certification from GCI as the result of their facility maintenance staff taking the GCIC Technician course over the past 60 days. In addition to frontline staff passing the required courses via the GCI online learning platform, members of management took and passed the Executive course as well.
The City of Columbia, Columbia, Missouri has now advanced their GCI certification status from Silver level to Gold level. In doing so, the City of Columbia has become the first municipality in the U.S. to earn this level of distinction.

Rolla High School was the first school to earn Gold EHS Schools certification in 2013 with 625 points. This past month, they renewed this certification and improved their numbers on the EHS Dashboard to 840.
